Behind the Shot

One of the most-visited areas of the Westfjords are the cliffs of Látrabjarg, located at the westernmost tip of Iceland, which is also considered the westernmost point of Europe. Látrabjarg’s cliffs, nearly 1,440 feet high, are home to millions of birds including razorbills, guillemots, northern gannets and puffins. In fact, as much as 40% of the world’s population of Razorbill are found here, and more than 8 million puffins live in Iceland.
