Behind the Shot
Arguably the most famous village along the Amalfi Coast, Positano is “as elegant as the name sounds,” says photographer Henrike Schenk. When she visited in the summer of 2021, she found herself unable to stop taking pictures of all the colorful alleys, and right-out-of-a-movie scenes between the colorful umbrellas on the beaches.
The soft afternoon sunlight falling over the hill, the colors on the beach and the village in the background make this print a stunning reminder to all of us to get out and see the world.
