Behind the Shot
When photographer Richard Podgurski Jr. saw a “lonely little fluffy cloud” floating above a hill in Palos Verdes, he zoomed in on it with a 600mm lens. It was a winter evening with “the coolest pink sunset,” that mixed perfectly into the fading blue sky. The colors melted into a tie-dye horizon, creating a stunning backdrop for the single cloud.
On its own, the cloud might not be memorable. Maybe you’d miss it. Thankfully, Richard has an eye for detail and captured it at just the right moment. The result is a breathtaking print that will be memorable on any wall. There’s no missing it now.
