Photographer Lindsey Grace Whiddon was in Joshua Tree for Babes Ride Out—an event for female-identifying bikers to meet and ride—when this shot was taken.
The two women Lindsey was riding behind spontaneously grabbed hands in a moment of solidarity and friendship, and Lindsey caught the perfect shot. “It was a real moment,” she says.
